President: Lou Serna
Assistant Director of Campus Ministry, St. Edward's University Luis “Lou” Serna has been working as the Assistant Director of Campus Ministry at St. Edward's University since January 2003. As a Campus Minister, Lou journeys with students in issues and programs of faith, service and social justice. Lou coordinates service opportunities in the Austin community, Alternative Spring Breaks, and the international immersion experiences. Prior to working at St. Edward's, Lou lived in Colorado where he participated in the El Pomar Foundation Fellowship program, where he worked to support the nonprofit sector across the state.

Vice-President: Roger Temme, M.Div.
Roger Temme has been Outreach Coordinator for The Care Communities for 12 years.  In that capacity he goes out to recruit volunteers for the Care Teams that provide practical and emotional support for persons living with AIDS or cancer.  He speaks to faith communities, businesses, corporations, neighborhood associations and community groups.  Roger has been a DOVIA member for about 8 years and has found it a good place to network and learn other skills around volunteerism.  He enjoys exercise, movies, sharing meals with friends, reading mystery novels and sometimes dancing.

Secretary: Jocelyn Brown
Jocelyn is the Manager of Volunteer Resources at The Christi Center, a non-profit organization providing free support services to anyone going through the grief process. Jocelyn enjoys brainstorming new ways to achieve successful volunteer programs. A native Texan, she moved to Austin in 2000 after receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos. She finds volunteering to be a rewarding experience, and does so with a variety of organizations in Austin.

Treasurer: Dawn Perkins
 Dawn moved to Austin in 2006 from Massachusetts and couldn’t be happier. She is the Community Relations and Volunteer Coordinator with Front Steps, the non-profit organization that manages the Austin Resource for the Homeless (ARCH) and the Recuperative Care Program. She recently completed her master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Texas State University San Marcos. She loves being outdoors, spending time with her friends, family, and dog, is learning to cook, and also volunteers with the Native American Children’s Alliance.

Membership/Recruitment: Roni Kendall
Roni is Director of Volunteers for the non profit organization, Cancer Connection. Cancer Connection offers cancer survivors and their loved ones the incredible opportunity to support and encourage individuals and/or families currently dealing with cancer. Roni has supervised volunteers for Palliative and Hospice care, as well as support and advocacy for the Aged. DOVIA has been one of her favorite networking resources for 4 years.

Member at Large—Research: Michael S. Warburton, MA, CVA
Currently serving as the Volunteer Director of The Blood and Tissue Center of Central Texas, Michael has assisted non-profit agencies and businesses, including AARP, Family Eldercare, Inc., Austin State School, Advocacy, Inc., and several grant-funded projects. Michael holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from St.  Mary’s University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.

Member at Large: Paige DeLeon, CVA
Paige joined DOVIA in 2007 and is a Health Initiatives Community Manager at the American Cancer Society. She focuses on community outreach, education and volunteer recruitment aiding those affected by cancer in our community. Paige received her Certification in Volunteer Administration and has extensive volunteer management and programming experience working with large-scale, highly-episodic volunteer groups.  Paige grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Journalism. She lives in Austin with her husband and two dogs, Leroy and Murphy.

Member at Large—Communication: Pam Tobola
Pam joined DOVIA in October of 2006 as part of her work with UTvolunteer.org and the Volunteer and Service Learning Center at UT Austin. She has been the Resource Advisor for 6 years, managing the UT VSLC Volunteer Fair, the website for non-profits and helping the Student Volunteer Board with their programs.  Pam received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from University of North Texas, calls Austin home and enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Member at Large—Technology: Rebecca Saltsman, MSW
Rebecca moved to Austin in 2004 to obtain her Master's degree in Social Work from UT and fell in love with the city. She joined DOVIA in 2006 after entering the volunteer working world and currently serves as the Volunteer Coordinator and Development Associate for the Sustainable Food Center. Rebecca enjoys hiking with her dogs, cooking, and working outside in the community.
